How do I advertise?

Simply click on the link marked 'How to Advertise' where it explains how to create your free account in very easy steps.  Once your account has been created, you will be free to manage your property listing/s online, add photos, update availability and edit your property details at any time

 

How do I create my free account?

Easy! You simply click on 'New Owner Signup' to set up a new Property Agent Account.  Complete the online form, ticking the 'Terms & Conditions' box, hit the 'Create your Account' button, and a new account will be activated for you, check your e-mail for a link to activate your account using your username and password issued.  We regret that at present passwords are created by the system at random, unfortunately we do not have the facilities for agents to create their own password, although this may be available in the near future.  New passwords can be requested at any time from the 'Owners Login' area by clicking on the 'forgotten password' blue link.  This will automatically generate a new password which will be sent to you immediately to your email address. 

Can I add several properties to one listing?

Yes, it is possible to do this, but we would recommend keeping your properties listed separately if you possibly can, as this gives each property the maximum amount of exposure, and will result in each property having its own listing within our search engine.  There are no limitations on how many properties you can list. Please do not list the same property more than once as this is not fair to the other property owners.

 

How do I remove my listing?

If you want us to remove your listing for any reason, just e-mail us by using the contact form and we can suspend your account with us, we can re-activate your original listing at a later date if you need to.  If you need to you can always de-activate your listings from the Manage Property Listings area, after logging in, simply switch the 'active' button to 'off'

 

How do I add photographs?

Go to 'Owners Login' on our home page.  You need to login to your account using your username and password which was created when you first registered with us.  Once you are logged in, click on ' Edit Images', where you can add up to 6 colour images. (up to 2096 kb, and must be in jpg format)  Please remember that the first photograph that you add will be used as the main photograph which accompanies your listing in the search engine. Once you are happy with your selection, remember to click on ' Save your Comments', your photos will now be added to your listing. Remember that you will not be able to add photos until you have entered your text details and saved them.  You will then be able to go on to add your photos by clicking on the edit images button.

 

I 'm having problems adding my photos!
 

The main reason why most photos can't be uploaded is because they are either too large, or they are not in jpg format.  We are only able to accept photos/images up to 2096 kilobytes, and they must be in jpg format only.

If you are having problems resizing your photos, we can recommend Irfanview; an excellent simple graphics program which is ideal for resizing or editing your images, it's free for personal use, but if you want to use it for commercial use, perhaps for your own website, you will need to purchase a licence, but still great value at only 10 Euros.  If you prefer, we can resize your photos for you, or copy them from your website, with the webmasters permission of course!

 

Can I add captions to my photos?

Yes!  Once you have logged into your 'Manage Property Listings' area, click on 'Edit Images' here you will see all of your photographs, to the right of each photograph there is a space to add your comments/descriptions, which can be viewed on your holiday listing immediately! Remember to click on the red 'Save your Comments' tab at the top of the page to make sure your captions are saved.

 

I do not have digital photographs, is this a problem?

No, just send your photographs to us via royal mail, marking the property reference no's on the reverse. Please send us an s.a.e. if you would like them returned to you.  There is no charge for this service

 

How do I edit my property listings?

You can edit your property details at any time, simply go to 'Owners Login', on our home page, login to your account, where you will go to the 'Manage Property Listings Area', just click on 'Edit Text' make the necessary changes to your listing, click on 'submit' and your property details are immediately updated.  From the 'Manage Property Listings Area' you are also able to make your property listings active or you can switch to off, thereby hiding your listing from our search engine until you are ready to activate

 

Bookings & Enquiries

Agents:

Any enquiries for your holiday rental property will be sent to letsrent2me.com who will then forward any questions or prospective bookings on to you, please feel free to accept/decline any bookings which we may pass on. We will help translate free of charge any Spanish/English or English/Spanish enquiries.  Lets Rent 2 Me will act as intermediaries between yourself and the holidaymaker until the booking is confirmed by you. 

Once a booking has been agreed, you liase directly with the holidaymaker. All deposits/payments are received by you directly. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before the start of the holiday, then the full booking fee is requested, (unless specified otherwise).   The price of your property is negotiated with you in advance, our commission is negotiable and can be added on to your prices or absorbed by you. You are free to accept or decline any bookings


Private Owners

All enquiries are sent directly to the owner using the email address which you registered your account with.  All bookings are made directly between the owner and the holidaymaker. All enquiries for sale properties are sent direct to you via our enquiry form.

If you need an e-mail address, we can supply you with a www.letsrent2me.com address free of charge, just contact us using the contact form provided.

How long will it take for my property to become available for lettings or for sale?

As soon as you have registered, completed your property details and added your photos, your property will be available on our search engine for immediate viewing

 

I've forgotten my password!

Don't Worry! You can request a new one from the 'Owners Login' area, you can request a new password as many times as you need to.

 

Availability

We have recently added an Availability Calendar which is free to all members of Lets Rent 2 Me., and is a very simple way of keeping track of  your bookings.

 

How easy is it to add my listings?

Very easy indeed!  Our website has been designed to be easily accessible for both property owners and and potential holidaymakers.  All you need to do is follow our simple to use instructions.  You really don't need any great computer skills; everything has been designed to get your holiday on the web as quickly and as easily as possible.  If you ever have any concerns, you can e-mail or write to us we can talk you through the process in a few easy steps, don't be afraid to ask, help is always on hand.

 

I can't see my Holiday Destination in your Search Engine?

Please don't worry, as soon as you have uploaded your listings, if your country is not listed in our search engine, we will ensure that any countries not already listed are added , and can be found in our online search engine immediately.

 

Can I add a link to my personal website?

Yes providing you provide a reciprocal link to letsrent2me.com. Any links not reciprocated will be removed from our website.
