How to reserve your holiday property

Booking your holiday

To reserve your holiday property with Lets Rent 2 Me, you will usually need to pay a deposit of between 25% - 40% to the property owner/agent. (some owners will accept smaller deposits or payment upon arrival; we have several agents and property owners who are happy to do this, again, this can vary according to individual requirements)  The final payment is usually due 6- 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.  However, if the holiday is booked less than 6- 8 weeks beforehand, then the whole fee is usually due at the time of the booking, again this can vary from each individual owner/agent.

What happens next?

Once availability has been checked and your booking reservation has been confirmed you will receive a confirmation email  within 24 hours, with full details of the agents/company's telephone number, fax, web site details (if applicable) and  the deposit necessary to reserve the property together with  the method of payment; most agents request payment via bank transfer or credit card (which is payable via a secure payment server on their website)  The agent will contact you with all of the relevant information that you require, together with full details of how to pay your final balance.  If at any time you need assistance with any aspect of your holiday please feel free to contact us at using the contact form provided.

If booking your holiday directly with a private owner, all payment arrangements and methods of payment will be agreed directly with the individual owner.

How to pay for your holiday

Bookings made with private owners are paid direct to the owner with the owner's preferred form of payment.  If booking with an agent/company, payment is made directly between the holidaymaker and the company/agency. Preferred methods of payment are usually bank transfer or credit card (which is usually payable via a secure payment server SSL on their website)

Breakage Deposits

Most owners/agents ask for a returnable breakage deposit which is usually paid via credit card upon arrival at the property.  This can vary according to property owner/agent.  The deposit is returned at the end of the holiday, once the property has been checked for any damage or breakages.  Some owners/agents also request a small returnable deposit for pets staying at the property, this is returned to the holidaymaker upon departure, subject to the property being left in a suitable condition.

Cleaning and Linen Charges

Most owners or agents include the cost of cleaning, linen, towels sheets etc. in the rental cost of the holiday, this again varies from owner to owner.  The property owner should list any payments which are not included in the cost of the holiday separately, but if you are in any doubt please check at the time of booking your holiday.
